Langara–49th Avenue station

Langara–49th Avenue is a train station in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is located at 6488 Cambie Street. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Canada Line.
The station was built in 2009 and opened on August 17. TransLink hired the architecture firm VIA Architecture to build the station.[1] During its planning, the station was named 49th Avenue and as later changed.[2]
It is a subway station with two tracks and side platforms. It is preceded by Oakridge–41st Avenue towards Waterfront station and ends at Marine Drive towards either Richmond–Brighouse or YVR–Airport. In 2024, it was ranked at #23 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[3]
The station serves as a connection for the 15, 49, and N15 TransLink bus services.[4]
Around the station is Langara College and Langara Golf Course.
