London North Eastern Railway is a British train operating company. It has run the InterCity East Coast franchise since 24 June 2018, when it took over from Virgin Trains.
The company is owned by the British government through its subsidiary DfT Operator.
It currently operates services on the East Coast Main Line. These services run between London and various other towns and cities in Great Britain. These include direct services to Newcastle, York, Darlington, Doncaster, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen.
