Morens was a municipality of the district of Broye, in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. On 1 January 2017, the former municipalities of Bussy, Estavayer-le-Lac, Morens, Murist, Rueyres-les-Prés, Vernay and Vuissens joined together and became the new municipality of Estavayer.[2]
