Murist was a municipality of the district Broye in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland.
History
Since 1981 with the formerly independent municipalities La Vounaise and Montborget, and in 1992 with Franex.[2] On 1 January 2017, the former municipalities of Bussy, Estavayer-le-Lac, Morens, Murist, Rueyres-les-Prés, Vernay and Vuissens merged into the new municipality of Estavayer.[3]
