My Nintendo
My Nintendo is a loyalty rewards program that is the replacement for Club Nintendo. The program released in March 2016 alongside the Nintendo Account system and the mobile game Miitomo. The program offers rewards and benefits for Nintendo's Mobile games, alongside the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
History
March 17, 2015, late president Satoru Iwata announced a partnership with mobile game company DeNA to make a unified account system for all Nintendo products and services, and My Nintendo was announced to replace Club Nintendo.
Design
My Nintendo is designed around Platinum and Gold points, which the latter can no longer be earned as of March 24, 2025. Players redeem these points for Wallpapers, Printable Cutouts, Physical items on the My Nintendo Store, Nintendo Switch Online icon customization items, and in the case of Gold points, discounts towards Games on the Nintendo eShop. Platinum points can be earned by completing Switch Online quests, Playing Nintendo mobile games, and Completing Surveys. Gold points could be earned with digital purchases on Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Switch, or Physical purchases on Nintendo Switch.
