Olympic Village station

Olympic Village is a train station in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is located at 525 West 2nd Avenue. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Canada Line.
The station was built in 2009 and opened on August 17. TransLink hired the architecture firm VIA Architecture to build the station.[1] During its planning, the station was named both 2nd Avenue and False Creek South.[2] TransLink received permission from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to use the name Olympic.[3]
It is a subway station with two tracks and a centre platform. It is preceded by Yaletown–Roundhouse towards Waterfront station and ends at Broadway–City Hall towards either Richmond–Brighouse or YVR–Airport. In 2024, it was ranked at #40 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[4]
The station serves as a connection for the 15, 50, and 84 TransLink bus services.[5]
Around the station is the Olympic Village, Granville Island, and Charleson Park.
