The Optare StarRider was a body of a midibus and minicoach. It had a step-entrance. It was made from 1987[1] to 1994 by Optare.
It was built on the Mercedes-Benz 811D chassis.[2][3][4][5]
In 1995, it was replaced by the Optare MetroRider[6]
