Professor Pyg

Professor Pyg is a fictional supervillain who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an adversary of the superhero Batman. Pyg was created by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert.[1] Professor Pyg was re-introduced following DC's The New 52 comics relaunch in 2011.

Fictional character biography

The character's in-world real name is Lazlo Valentin, a scientist who suffered a schizophrenic breakdown that led him to become a supervillain who wears a pig mask.

Powers and abilities

Pyg does not have any superhuman powers or abilities. He is however, an extremely skilled surgeon.

In other media

The character has appeared in toys, television series, and video games as well. Michael Cerveris portrayed the character in the fourth season of Gotham in the DC Extended Universe.
