Thomas Wayne

Thomas Alan Wayne, M.D. is a fictional Batman character who was the father of Bruce Wayne and the husband of Martha Wayne. He was the founder of Wayne Enterprises and was one of Gotham's best doctors. He had a strong relationship with Bruce until he was killed along with his wife by Joe Chill. From his death Bruce became Batman to avenge their deaths.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays Thomas in the DC Extended Universe first appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Brett Cullen plays him in the 2019 movie Joker.
