"SOS" is a song by Barbadian singer Rihanna. It is a dance-pop and R&B song that samples the 1981 song "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell. It was released on February 14, 2006 off of the album A Girl like Me and went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, her first song to do so. The song was originally written for Christina Milian.[1]
