Survivor Series (2002) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view show made by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It took place on November 17, 2002 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It was the 16th Survivor Series event held by WWE.
The main event was the first-ever Elimination Chamber match for Raw's World Heavyweight Championship. Shawn Michaels defeated reigning champion Triple H, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Rob Van Dam, and Kane to win the title. In the main match for SmackDown!, Los Guerreros (Eddie and Chavo Guerrero) defeated the team of Edge and Rey Mysterio and the team of Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit to win the WWE Tag Team Champions in a Three-way elimination match. Also, Big Show defeated Brock Lesnar to win his second WWE Championship. This was the second Survivor Series event after 1998 not to feature the traditional Survivor Series elimination match .
