"The Real Slim Shady" is a 2000 song by the American rapper Eminem and is the lead single from his third studio album The Marshall Mathers LP. "The Real Slim Shady" became his first chart-topper in the UK and peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song topped the single charts in Iceland, Ireland and Scotland. It went to the top 10 in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. It won for 2 MTV Video Music Awards in 2000 and won for an Grammy Award in 2001.
