The Trust Territory of Somaliland, officially the Trust Territory of Somaliland under Italian Administration[1] was a United Nations Trust Territory from 1950 to 1960, following the dissolution of the former British Military Administration. It was controlled by Italy before becoming independent. It covered most of present-day Somalia and its capital was Mogadishu.
