Typhoon Rai, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Odette, was a tropical cyclone over the South China Sea which recently passed through the Philippines. It also traveled to Vietnam.

Rai caused severe and widespread damage throughout the Southern Philippines, killing at least 376. [1]

Retirement

On February 2022 PAGASA decided that the name of Odette, will never be used in naming from its rotation annual typhoon names, rampaging the northeastern Mindanao. Causing P1 billion, And replaced the name with Opong in 2025 name list.
