The 1997 UEFA Women's Championship, commonly referred to as the 1997 Women's Euros or just the 1997 Euros, was a championship that happened in 1997 in Norway and Sweden.[1] The competition aims to determine which national women's team is the best in Europe.[2]Germany won the championship, beating Italy in the final. They had won the last Euros competition in 1995.[3]
