Zweibrücken is a town in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is on the Schwarzbach river. About 34,000 people live there.
The name Zweibrücken means 'two bridges'. It is pronounced differently by different people. (German pronunciation: [ˈt͡svaɪˌbʁʏkn̩], French: Deux-Ponts [døpɔ̃], Palatinate German: Zweebrigge [ˈd͡sʋeːbʁɪgə]).
