Aberdeen station (SkyTrain)

Aberdeen is a train station in Richmond, British Columbia. It is located at 8430 Cambie Street. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Canada Line.

The station was built in 2009 and opened on August 17. During its planning, the station was named Cambie but was also known as Cambie Road. Other names that were suggested were Aberdeen, Golden Village or Golden Plaza, International, Riverside, or Asia Pacific.[1] The station was renamed to Aberdeen on April 4, 2006.[2]

It is an elevated station with two tracks and side platforms. It is preceded by Capstan towards Waterfront station and ends at Lansdowne station towards Richmond–Brighouse. In 2024, it was ranked at #39 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[3]

The station serves as a connection for the 403, 410, and N10 TransLink bus services.[4]

Around the station is Aberdeen Centre, Aberdeen Square, President Plaza, Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport, and Yaohan Centre.
