Air is the first solo EP by Yeji, a South Korean singer from the girl group Itzy. It was released by JYP Entertainment in 2025, and has four songs: "Air", "Invasion", "Can't Slow Me, No" and "258".

Background and release

It was announced that Yeji would start her solo career in 2025.[1] JYP Entertainment shared a trailer, song list, photos, and short videos to promote the EP before its release.[2][3] They also shared song previews and short clips of the music video for the song "Air".[4][5] The EP and the music video for "Air" were then released together.[6]

Music and lyrics

Yeji helped write the lyrics for "Air". The song is about how she feels when she performs on stage. It has a synth-pop sound with a strong bass and a catchy chorus.[7] "Invasion" is a calm song with an island feel. "Can't Slow Me, No" has fast beats and Latin-style music. "258" is the last song and has soft singing with an uplifting electronic dance beat.[8]
