The Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV is a battery electric double-decker bus. It has been made from 2018 to the present day by Alexander Dennis and Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD Auto.[3][4]
The Enviro400EV is made as a full-size bus and as a body of a bus that can be built on the BYD K series chassis.
First generation (2018-2024)
From 2018 to 2024, Alexander Dennis and Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD Auto made a battery electric bus called the Enviro400EV.
Enviro400EV City
From 2018 to 2024, Alexander Dennis and BYD Auto made a body of a bus called the Enviro400EV City. It can be built on the BYD D8UR chassis.
Enviro400FCEV City
From 2021[5] to 2024, Alexander Dennis made a fuel cell battery electric bus called the Enviro400FCEV.[5][6]
Second generation (2023-present)
From 2023 to the present day, Alexander Dennis and Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD Auto make a battery electric bus called the Enviro400EV.[7][8]
