Gyula Grosics (4 February 1926 – 13 June 2014) was a Hungarian football goalkeeper.[2] He played 86 times for the Hungarian national football team and was part of the legendary Golden Team of the 1950s. He was nicknamed the Black Panther (Hungarian: Fekete Párduc). He is credited with the paternity of the attitude of an additional defender, for his ability to get out of his own area and for his good attitude to footwork. Regarded as one of the best goalkeepers of all time.

Grosics died on 13 June 2014, aged 88.
