Markham, Ontario is a city in Regional Municipality of York, in the Greater Toronto Area of Southern Ontario, Canada. As of 2021, 338,503 people live in Markham. The number of people doubled from 1991 to 2011. It is the 4th largest town in the Greater Toronto Area, after Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton.
