The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a smartphone created by Samsung Electronics.[1] It runs the Android software.
The phone was officially revealed on 21 February 2016, during a Samsung press conference at Mobile World Congress, with a European and North American release on 11 March 2016.[2]
The device has an improved camera and is protected against ingress of water. The amount of internal storage can be increased using memory cards known as "MicroSD cards". This was also the case on the Samsung Galaxy S5, but not on the Samsung Galaxy S6.[3]
