Sperling–Burnaby Lake is a train station in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is located at 2800 Sperling Avenue. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Millennium Line.
The station was built in 2002 and opened on August 31. When TransLink was building the Millennium Line, they decided to start building new stations with Sperling–Burnaby Lake being one of them. TransLink hired the architecture firm Hotson Bakker Architects to build the station.[1]
It is an elevated station with two tracks and side platforms. It is preceded by Holdom towards VCC–Clark and ends at Lake City Way towards Lafarge Lake–Douglas. In 2024, it was ranked at #51 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[2]
The station serves as a connection for the 110, 134, and 144 TransLink bus services.[3]
Around the station is Burnaby Lake Regional Park, Burnaby Lake Sports Complex, the distribution centre for Dairyland, and the Central Valley Greenway.
