Lake City Way is a train station in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is located at 3191 Lake City Way. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Millennium Line.

The station was built in 2003 and opened on November 21. When TransLink was building the Millennium Line, they decided to start building an infill station which became Lake City Way station. The station was the winner of both the Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia Award and a Canadian Architect Award of Excellence in 2004.[1]

It is an elevated station with two tracks and side platforms. It is preceded by Sperling–Burnaby Lake towards VCC–Clark and ends at Production Way–University towards Lafarge Lake–Douglas. In 2024, it was ranked at #53 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[2]

There was some controversy about the station before it was built. The Lougheed Area Residents Association accused the NDP-affiliated city council of bailing out the station so it didn't get cut out of the system.[3] Many residents in the south end of Lake City opposed the construction of the station because it was too close to Seaforth Elementary School and they said that the station would being in a "CrimeTrain" filled with "drug users and pedophiles" to the area.[4]

The station serves as a connection for the 134 and N9 TransLink bus services.[5]

Around the station is Charles Rummel Park, and the television studios for Global BC and Global News: BC 1.
