Vancouver City Centre station

Vancouver City Centre is a train station in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is located at 702 West Georgia Street. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Canada Line.
The station was built in 2009 and opened on August 17. TransLink hired the architecture firm VIA Architecture to build the station.[1] During its planning, the station was named both Robson and Robson/Granville. It was later named after the location of where the station sits.[2]
It is a subway station with two tracks and a centre platform. It is preceded by the terminus at Waterfront station and ends at Yaletown–Roundhouse towards either Richmond–Brighouse or YVR–Airport. In 2024, it was ranked at #8 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[3]
The station serves as a connection for the Granville TransLink bus services.[4]
Around the station is the Granville Entertainment District, Scotiabank Tower, Pacific Centre, Vancouver Art Gallery, Robson Square, the Provincial Court and Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of British Columbia, and the Vancouver branch of the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, and Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada.
