Dwight Herbert Green (January 9, 1897 – February 20, 1958) was an American politician. He was the 30th Governor of Illinois from 1941 to 1949.[1][2] Green was a Republican. He was the unsuccessful Republican nominee for Mayor of Chicago in the 1939 election.
