Shelby Moore Cullom (November 22, 1829 – January 28, 1914) was an American politician. He was a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1865 until 1871. He was am member of the United States Senate from 1883 until 1913. He was the 17th Governor of Illinois from 1877 until 1883.[1]
