Scott Road station

Scott Road is a train station in Surrey, British Columbia. It is located at 12515 110 Avenue. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Expo Line.

The station was built in 1990 and opened on March 16. It was built on the land where the old Scott Road Park–Ride used to sit. The park and ride lot opened on May 3, 1986 and was used for parking for Expo 86. It was once one of the largest park and ride lots in North America after it was expanded in 1991.[1] The site was demolished to make way for the new Scott Road station. Scott Road was the east terminus for the Expo Line when it was created as part of the new extension made for the SkyTrain. It served as the terminus until the line was extended in 1994.[2] Scott Road station is named after Scott Road, which in turn was named after Colonel J.T. Scott.[3]

It is an elevated station, featuring two tracks and a centre platform. It is preceded by Columbia towards Waterfront and ends at Gateway towards King George. In 2024, it was ranked at #12 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[4] In early 2013, TransLink orders upgrades for the station. The upgrades included a new elevator, a new bus loop, new entrances, and updated signage.[5]

The station serves as a connection for the R6 Scott Rd TransLink bus service.[6]

Around the station is the Bridgeview Community Centre.
