Take Me Home is the second studio album by British-Irish boy band One Direction. It was released on November 9, 2012, by Syco Music and Columbia Records.[1] Following the success of their debut album Up All Night (2011), the band worked with teams of songwriters, with nearly five writers per track on average. Most of the album was written and recorded in Sweden, where producers Savan Kotecha, Rami Yacoub, and Carl Falk spent six months creating songs that suited each member’s voice.

The album features catchy pop sounds, vocal harmonies, hand claps, electric guitar riffs, and bright synthesizers. Each member has solo moments, and the lyrics focus on love, heartbreak, jealousy, and confidence. Take Me Home received mostly positive reviews, with critics praising its production but noting it felt somewhat generic and rushed.
