New Canaan is a wealthy town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. There were 20,622 people according to the 2020 census.[1]
The town is one of the richest communities in the nation. In 2011, New Canaan was 8th on CNN Money's list of the top-earning towns in the United States.[2]
